The Final Countdown (insert cheesy dynamic 80's music here)

So meine Damen und Herren, the final countdown has begun. Both the lady and I have less than two weeks in Berlin before setting off across the sunset (is going East still across the sunset?). As you can imagine, we still have tons of things we need to get done before embarking on our trip, which encompasses the following: figuring out precise details of our trip; finding some kick-ass old suitcases to bring our junk home in; fixing our bikes, which continually keep breaking down on us; cleaning the apartment; enjoying our last few days in Berlin without blowing all our money; trying to take out the V2 rocket manufacturing plant in the Pas-de-Calais (on my PSP of course, the wars over man!); finishing all our library books; getting the smell out of Ebe's shoes; cultivating the most beautiful rat-tail this side of the Elbe; learning a few key phrases in Turkish, Romanian, Hungarian, and Bulgarian (screw Italian, all those meatballs speak some English anyway); and being model citizens amongst many other things... yeah right, wish us luck!
